CIVIL ENGINEER, EI - RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT

Job Description

EMH&T is currently seeking a Civil Engineer (EI) to join our Residential Development team located in Columbus, OH.

Our EIs work under the guidance of experienced Engineers and Project Managers who provide mentorship and support throughout your career development. Additionally, EMH&T offers a dedicated support team to train you on our drafting and design standards, ensuring you are well-prepared for success in this role.

Our Development I team typically works on projects that involve single and multi-family homes with some commercial projects.

Responsibilities

Develop plan drawings and calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/OpenRoads for projects such as sanitary systems, stormwater management, roadway design.

Produce base maps for plan development, generate 3D surface models, corridors, profiles, and cross-sections, as well as perform drafting tasks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

0 - 4 years experience.

Work experience, including internships or co-op experiences in civil, construction, or a related area and exposure to engineering consulting firm environment, preferred.
