Job Description
The Computer Technician will perform in-shop and on-site small businesses IT repair and
implementation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide break-fix support, such as hardware replacement, operating system reinstalls, virus and malware removal and other hardware maintenance in small businesses.
Providing customers with support for their individual or organization’s computer repair needs, which will include basic help desk support up to advanced IT troubleshooting. This position involves troubleshooting workstations, networking, storage and server issues as well on a variety of platforms including: Microsoft Windows (All Versions), and various networking protocols such as VPN, TCP/IP, etc. Communicate in layman’s terms complex technology to customers in person and over the phone.
Install wireless networking equipment into small business environments.
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to interact at all levels of management internally, and with customers and suppliers.
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent follow-through.
Professional appearance.
Takes initiative and doesn’t need constant instruction.
Must be able to multi-task and manage time amongst clients.
Flexibility and ability to bounce between projects quickly.
3+ Years of Experience with Windows, Networking Devices, such as routers, etc.
A Jack of All Trades in Tech. Someone that has 3+ years experience with multiple various types of technology.
Must be a Tech that loves working with various technologies.
A natural troubleshooter; someone who will see a problem through until its resolved, and is able to quickly diagnose problems even on technology not previously worked with.
3+ years of experience in Windows repair and troubleshooting.
Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, highly competitive, deadline oriented environment.
Networking Troubleshooting Experience.
