We're seeking a skilled Injection Mold Maker to join our team, where you'll play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and fabricating molds to ensure efficient production and top-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repairs, and fabrication for new and existing tooling.

Collaborate with the Tooling Engineer and/or Toolroom Manager to analyze and repair simple to moderately complex molds.

Plan and fabricate cavity-forming components with precision and attention to detail.

Operate all mold-making equipment effectively, specializing in at least one area.

Disassemble and reassemble tooling to verify dimensions and functionality.

Follow the "8-Stages of Systematic Mold Maintenance" process to ensure optimal results.

Maintain accurate records of mold maintenance activities.

Adhere to 5S standards for housekeeping and safety practices.

Assist in estimating, planning, and completing assigned work efficiently.

Take responsibility for ensuring customer requirements are met and maintain assigned SPA (Single Point of Accountability) areas.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Technical school (2-year program) and/or at least 5 years of relevant experience and training.

Skills:

Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and apply advanced mathematical concepts, including geometry and trigonometry.

Strong mechanical aptitude and reasoning skills.

Familiarity with injection molds, processing, and reading part/assembly drawings.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and use hands and fingers.

Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Requires good vision (close, color, peripheral, and depth perception), correctable to 20x40.

Must be willing to work extended hours and holidays as needed.
