Could you be the full-time Customer Director in Copenhagen we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive business and engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.

You'll act as the main point of contact for our customers, fostering a customer-centric culture and driving growth through business development. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Sales & Tendering teams, Business Development), manage project profitability and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of customer satisfaction and loyalty, but also identify new business opportunities and contribute to the negotiation phase.

We’ll look to you for:

Act as the main point of contact for customer, and the prevalent authority on all customer issues

Securing and measuring customer satisfaction

Grow business by selling existing/new products to existing customers to maximize revenue and profits

Contribute to negotiations during tender phase

Contributing to project execution success in partnership with Project Managers

Manage the Profit & Loss of the project, in partnership with Platform Director & Project Manager

Identify new business opportunities with his/her customers, identify customer needs, gather customers’ key data including budgets

Applying Alstom's ethical rules and compliance in all activities

Ensure the tender team is adequately staffed

Ensure, with Contract Manager(s), that contractual/legal issues are properly handled

Ensure timely invoicing of the customer based on contractual milestones

During the Tender Phase:

Contribute to the formulation of the bid strategy.

Engage actively in the DFQ (Document for Quotation) process for tenders as a permanent member of the Tender Gate Review decision-making board.

Update Tender Control on tender status and progression of key issues.

Support the negotiation phase.

During the Project Execution Phase:

Facilitate a smooth handover between the tender phase and the contract phase.

Provide input to the Platform Director regarding the People Management Cycle activities for Project Managers (including objectives and appraisals).

Collaborate with the Platform Director to co-define the Project Strategy.

Validate the selling price.

Implement and participate in the Monthly Project Review (MPR) process.

A Graduate Degree in Engineering or Business field

Experience or understanding of the rail or related business, or project engineering industry

Familiarity with transport clients and market dynamics in the Country/Cluster/Region

Proven relationship development skills

Resilient and able to deliver operationally in a demanding and changing environment
