As a Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you will be called to care when you're needed most. As part of Interim HealthCare, you'll support a full range of patient services to bring comfort and dignity to our clients.

As a Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will:

Present the Hospice benefit to patients and their families/representatives

Assess signs and symptoms of discomfort including presence of pain and takes prompt and appropriate action

Follow established plan of care while collaborating and communicating with RN Case Manager and Interdisciplinary Team, including physician, as appropriate

Communicate with patients' family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.

To qualify for a Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with us, you will need:

Licensure: Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state associated with this position

Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification

Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations

Valid state-issued driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation; willingness to travel

One (1) year preferred experience practicing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a hospice or similar setting
