Agile Catalog Data Team Lead
About the Role:
We're seeking an organized and analytical leader to serve as both Scrum Master and team lead for our cabinetry metadata team. In this role, you'll guide a small agile team responsible for capturing comprehensive data about our physical cabinetry products and ensuring all necessary metadata is properly cataloged for 3D visualization purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a dedicated team through data-intensive workflows, establishing priorities and removing obstacles
Organize and manage the intake process for physical product data
Analyze metadata requirements for 3D visualization and ensure completeness
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data gaps and inconsistencies
Collaborate with the 3D rendering team to understand visualization requirements
Implement quality control measures to maintain data accuracy
Develop and refine workflows for efficient data processing
Create documentation of data standards and processes
Provide regular reporting on team progress and data quality metrics
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
Analyze metadata requirements for 3D visualization and ensure completeness
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data gaps and inconsistencies
Perform QA on large sets of complex data
Track and report on team velocity, sprint burndown, and other key metrics
Qualifications:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred
Experience facilitating Agile workflows and ceremonies
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Proven ability to organize complex workflows and establish priorities
Experience with data quality assessment and improvement
Excellent problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving data issues
Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
Ability to coach team members and foster continuous improvement
Nice to Have:
Experience with product catalogs or digital asset management
Background in furniture, cabinetry, or interior design industries
Experience with product catalogs or digital asset management
Understanding of 3D visualization concepts (technical expertise not required)
Experience with data management tools and databases
This role combines Scrum Master responsibilities with hands-on data analysis to ensure our cabinetry products are accurately represented in 3D visualizations. The ideal candidate will excel at facilitating Agile processes while also being capable of diving into data quality issues and helping the team deliver high-quality metadata for our visualization pipeline.
