You’ll be working with Researchers from leading AI Labs as part of a brand new team

Your Role

Build critical features from intuitive APIs and dashboards to distributed schedulers and Rust-based execution engines.

Integrate Daft with modern technologies like Ray, Apache Iceberg, Unity Catalog, and Delta Lake.

Rapidly iterate using direct feedback from leading AI researchers and labs.

Engage hands-on with infrastructure, prototyping, and user-driven design.

What You Bring

10+ years of engineering experience (full-stack, distributed systems, ML infrastructure).

Proven track record of building products from 0 to 1, ideally at startups or entrepreneurial projects.

Active open-source contributions or personal projects demonstrating innovation.

Familiarity with tools like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, Spark, and some exposure to systems languages like Rust or C++.

Experience translating user feedback into effective development roadmaps.

CS education from a top-tier institution (e.g., Stanford, MIT, Berkeley, CMU, Caltech, UIUC).

Key Technologies

Languages: Python, Rust, C++ (Rust/C++ experience beneficial, not mandatory)
