The Production Associate will be responsible for performing various tasks in our manufacturing plant.
Work with electronic components
Communicate with the material handler to ensure your workstation is properly stocked for each shift.
Adhere to safety rules and standards.
Ensure quality in the daily work.
Solder electrical circuits
Apply various technologies to test, repair, and modify components/parts.
Work closely with the engineering team and production team.
Report common problems to the Engineering Team.
Report on accidents/incidents.
Ensures quality and consistency in production processes.
Gather and arrange materials.
Assist engineers and other production coworkers with evaluating and constructing products, operations, and/or procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
Track and report common problems to the engineering team.
Follow established company policies and procedures.
Focus on achieving company production goals, organizational objectives, and important deadlines.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in electronics repair.
Manufacturing experience: 1-3 years.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to clearly communicate with engineering, technical support, sales, and management.
Knowledge of EEOC, OSHA, and EPA rules and regulations.
Experience working with resistors, capacitors, and relays a plus.
Experience working with multi-meters a plus.
Thorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Must be able to ensure smooth and efficient production workflow.
Must be self-motivated and disciplined to problem solve and troubleshoot and escalate as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and sitting.
Must have excellent vision and very steady hand-eye coordination to successfully complete the job - will be working on very small, intricate parts and processes.
Must be able to hold and operate hand tools.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Manual dexterity to evaluate, test, repair, install, and modify parts/components.
