Job Overview:
CEG's client is expanding their team and is seeking a talented Lead Environmental Project Manager (Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer) to guide their team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment, empowering you to practice without limitations. As the Lead Environmental Project Manager, you will manage large-scale environmental investigations, supervise complex projects, and aid in business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute large-scale investigations of soil and groundwater contamination, including vapor intrusion studies under CERCLA and RCRA.
Supervise and mentor support staff, providing guidance and leadership throughout all project phases.
Compile, interpret, and analyze investigation data to create detailed technical reports.
Create technical reports, assess responses, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Assist with marketing and business development to promote the company's services effectively.
Oversee projects at diverse sites, including Superfund sites, complex federal facilities, military installations, and commercial/industrial properties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Geology, Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental investigations and assessments.
Professional licensure in Geology or Engineering (P.G. or P.E.) is required.
Previous experience with federal assessment, remediation, and munitions programs is preferred.
HAZWOPER Certification is desirable.
Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the day.
Willingness to travel regionally up to 5-10% annually.
Ability to travel up to 30-50% as needed.
