Distribution Clerk - Week end Day Shift

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Guard Shack Distribution Clerk to join their team. As a Distribution Clerk, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the warehouse operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Distribution Clerk

Location: Hanover, PA

Pay Range: $18.77 per hour, with a $1.00 raise upon conversion to full-time

Shifts available: Weekend night shift and Monday-Thursday night shift plus overtime

What's the Job?

Create and manage wave plans in Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure optimal order picking and shipping efficiency.

Monitor and prioritize orders based on customer requirements, inventory levels, and shipping schedules.

Collaborate with warehouse supervisors, inventory control, and shipping teams to ensure smooth execution of wave plans.

Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to wave planning and order fulfillment, identifying areas for improvement.

Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to wave planning, order picking, and shipping.

What's Needed?

Experience with warehouse management systems, preferably Blue Yonder, nice to have

Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics best practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI nice to have

Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
