Structural Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Engineer to manage and oversee multiple formwork design projects. Our client is a growing construction company that is bringing on is a work environment that values collaboration, leadership, and innovation and this role focuses on design oversight while ensuring safety, efficiency, and constructability. We are seeking candidates that are looking to grow with a company and provide input to improve processes as well as design.

Responsibilities:

Produce engineering solutions and designs, progressing from conceptual development to fully functional working status.

Generate detailed calculation reports tailored to project-specific solutions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.

Support a small sales staff by addressing technical inquiries, assisting with project work, and providing field support as needed.

Manage a small team of 2-4 engineers, serving as the Engineer of Record for designs produced by the team, overseeing quality and accountability.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

EIT certification

4+ years of experience in the structural or civil engineering field

Project management experience

Previous design experience
