Agile Scrum IT Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Agile Scrum IT Project Manager with expertise in mobile app development to lead and coordinate innovative projects as a remote contract to permanent hire for our client in SW Florida area. This is a long-term contract to permanent hire position, ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who excels in managing technical teams and delivering high-quality applications utilizing Agile methodologies. The role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, including cloud-based platforms and AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for mobile application development, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

• Oversee teams working within Agile frameworks, promoting collaboration and efficient workflows.

• Implement best practices for project management, including change management processes and risk mitigation.

• Drive the integration of cloud technologies and AI/machine learning solutions into mobile app projects.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

• Utilize Azure DevOps tools to track progress, manage tasks, and report on project status.

• Ensure compliance with Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles during project execution.

• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

• Monitor and evaluate project performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, enhancing their technical and career development.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in application development.

• Proven expertise in managing mobile app development projects using Agile Scrum methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in software development.

• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.

• PMP certification is required.

• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and other development project management tools.

• Demonstrated ability to implement change management and best practices.

• Solid understanding of Agile SDLC principles and processes.
