Job Description:
This position blends strategic design with practical, hands-on engineering. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team-including mechanical, chemical, electrical, and automation engineers-to develop comprehensive process cooling solutions using industrial refrigeration systems and specialized heat exchangers. Responsibilities include testing prototypes, supporting field implementation, developing SOPs, troubleshooting, and continuously improving system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment
Manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively
Develop designs from concept to operation using solid engineering principles
Conduct and review mechanical design and engineering calculations
Create detailed 3D CAD models (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
Apply knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and system design
Design and operate industrial refrigeration systems (ammonia experience preferred)
Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment
Develop SOPs and support field deployment of systems
Travel domestically and internationally as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of hands-on engineering experience
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to travel for project needs
Preferred Skills:
Experience with industrial refrigeration systems
Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD tools
Field testing and commissioning experience
