Technical Solutions Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Technical Solutions Architect to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This Contract-to-Permanent role requires expertise in developing and managing database solutions, cloud technologies, and integrations within the wholesale distribution industry. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain solutions using Infor OS and related technologies, including programming Infor Business Object Documents and managing Infor Data Lake.

• Develop and optimize integrations between Infor Cloud Suite Distribution, Infor WMS, and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow.

• Create and customize extensible business rules for Infor systems to meet organizational needs.

• Utilize programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and REST APIs to build and enhance technical solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

• Develop and manage database objects and data sources to support business intelligence initiatives.

• Build dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights, leveraging BI tools.

• Ensure compliance with best practices in cloud technologies, including Microsoft SQL Server and Informatica.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to current systems.• Proven experience with Infor OS, Infor Cloud Suite Distribution, and Infor Warehouse Management Systems.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and REST APIs.

• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and database management systems, including Microsoft SQL Server and Informatica.

• Familiarity with business intelligence tools and the ability to create dashboards and reports.

• Experience in integrating and optimizing enterprise systems for seamless data exchange.

• Knowledge of AB testing and creating business requirement documents is a plus.

• Infor OS or Cloud Practitioner certification is highly desirable.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
