Job Summary: Are you looking for a job with the perfect hours? Join our team at the Fairfield by Marriott where we offer a fun, productive, teamwork-oriented environment. We are seeking a part-time breakfast host/hostess to work 6AM-Noon. Weekend availability(both Saturday and Sunday) is required. Thorough training will be provided. Must enjoy working with the public and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Some duties include: keeping the buffet stocked, keeping tables and buffet areas clean during breakfast hours, complete clean-up and stocking/prep. for the next day.

Responsibilities
Greet guests with a friendly and sincere welcome
Provide courteous guest service promptly and efficiently
Monitor and maintain guests’ satisfaction of the breakfast items and area at all times
Prepare breakfast by stocking the serving areas with items according to brand standards
Assist guests with special requests/food allergies
Maintain serving areas during breakfast hours and break down the serving line when breakfast hours are over
Perform inventory of all food and service items and order items as needed
Responsible for daily cleaning of breakfast bar items
May perform other duties as required or assigned including but not limited to the cleaning of public restrooms, guest laundry room and lobby area
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
Regular attendance is essential
May be required to work varying schedules and holidays
Required to fully comply with all rules and regulations
No formal training required; learning many work-related skills on the job
Some experience in safety material handling and cleaning procedures is helpful
Food service certification is a plus
Frequent lifting with a considerable amount of bending and stooping
Requires high levels of contact with all types of people
Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance
