POSITION SUMMARY: This is a delivery position responsible for operating a 26ft Straight Truck, delivering and unloading various products for our customers throughout the tri-state area. Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various evening start times are required in order to successfully meet customers' needs. As an apprentice, during your first month of employment you will NOT be driving but instead, shadowing an experienced driver in order to become familiar with our routes, customers and company protocals. After your first month, you will have 2-3 months of hands-on training. Once your gradutate the apprenticeship program, you will be deemed an experienced driver and will receive an increase in pay rate.

Hourly Pay Rate: $24.00 during Apprenticeship Training (3-4 month)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows

Abide by Department of Transportation regulations

Unloading of merchandise by the use of hand trucks

Provide an excellent customer service experience by meeting customer needs during delivery

Ability to operate a commercial truck safely
