Mixer Operator

A local Bonner Springs, KS bakery is looking to add a Mixer Operator to their growing team! This is an evaluation hire (potential direct placement for the right candidate), with room for advancement and growth opportunities.

SHIFT: 3rd Shift. Sun - Thurs. 9pm - 7:30am

Location: Bonner Springs, KS

PAY: $19.50/hr

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Mix batches by following instructions on batch sheets

Properly place ingredients in position for efficient operation of mixer

Ability to handle all ingredients including the allergens used in the plant.

Provides accurate recordkeeping of lot codes, batches and all required data.

Responsible for operating equipment used in preparation, mixing, and finishing product. Equipment includes but not limited to mixers, depositor, conveyors, etc.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Experience of working in a Food Production environment

Excellent attention to detail

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently.

Ability to read, speak and write English

Experience with food safety regulations strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs./pounds consistently.

Frequently required to sit and walk.

Regularly required to stand.

Occasionally required to stoop, crouch or kneel.

Occasionally required to climb, reach with hands and arms, and work at a computer
