We're Hiring a Sr. Database Manager / Programmer!
About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Database Manager / Programmer to lead our IT operations and support the development of our in-house, proprietary platforms. This is a hands-on, full-charge position where you’ll own the entire IT function — from infrastructure to data strategy — and play a key role in driving our continued success.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage all IT operations for the organization
- Maintain and optimize cloud-based databases and server environments
- Develop and manage data integration and mapping workflows
- Build and support ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Lead system upgrades and migrations, including planning, testing, and rollout
- Collaborate with leadership to implement custom solutions that meet operational needs
- Enhance and support proprietary, in-house platforms
- Coordinate with external security vendors and managed service providers (MSPs)
- Represent our technical solutions to clients as needed in meetings and presentations
- Analyze and manage reporting data with deep knowledge of accounting logic
What You Bring
- Degree in Accounting or related experience (strongly preferred)
- Extensive experience with cloud database platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, or other scripting/programming languages
- Hands-on experience with ETL and SSIS
- Proven history of leading system upgrades and migrations
- Experience with custom-built platforms and full-stack IT ownership
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Bonus Points If You Have
- Industry experience in fuel, fleet, or energy services
- Knowledge of financial controls, audits, and compliance standards
