Press Brake Operator

Job Description

Condustrial Inc. is looking for a Press Brake Operator in Piedmont, SC. Press brake operator will be responsible for setting up and operation of Trumpf and Wysong press-brakes.

Pay- $26-28/HR based on experience

Shift- 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday with some overtime on Fridays

Responsibilities:

· Operate and set up of (1) Trumpf TrumaBend V200 and (2) Wysong press brakes. · Select proper tooling based on material type and thickness using bend deduction/allowance charts provided by the company. · Keep work area clean and organized. · Complete routine proper maintenance of press-brakes.

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED. · 1+ years of experience setting up and operating press brake(s). · Knowledge of press-brake tooling and related hand tools used in normal operation of press-brakes. · Knowledge of taking sheet metal parts from flat to formed using bend deduction/allowance charts and determining bend sequences needed to make parts to customer specifications. · Proven measurement and mathematical fraction to decimal conversion skills. · Working knowledge of the metric and standard system. · Ability to read and understand customer and company provided part drawings/prints. · Ability to quickly identify different material types of Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Galvanized and Carbon Steel. · Capable of using dial/digital calipers, tape measures, angle gages, height gages and other measuring tools.
