Import Account Manager

Job Description

We are currently looking for Import Manager who will work with a select import accounts and be responsible for: preparing & filing ISF declarations, preparation of customs entries, accurate and timely execution of the customs clearance process, monitoring entry status, preparing and sending delivery orders, invoicing client, and executing the customers SOPs. The individual will have contact with customers, US Customs & Border Protection (CBP), and PGA’s on a daily basis as well as warehouses and trucking companies.

Essential Qualifications

• 3 plus years Customs related experience

• Knowledge of PGA’s – FDA and USDA

• Full working knowledge of HTS with respect to general chapter notes, SPI rules, etc.

• Complete understanding of CBP rules and regulations

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to work individually and as a team

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Outlook and Excel, TEAMS

• Ability to multitask.

• Ability to mentor and train others.

• Strong pluses:

o proficient with CargoWise system,

o CCS certification

o Knowledge of drawback
