Project Architect

Job Description

R2R studio is seeking a Project Architect who is creative and collaborative to join our nine-person firm in Knoxville, Tennessee.

For over 20 years, R2R studio has been home to a team-oriented group of architects and designers with a passion for learning. Our projects are unique to each concept and client that enters our office, and we pride ourselves in offering a holistic design approach to each project we work on. We are a small firm of driven problem solvers, always striving for powerful aesthetics on a wide range of building scopes.

As part of our team, you will have opportunities to engage in a variety of project types ranging from custom homes to new restaurant franchises. Our work generally focuses on smaller to mid-size Hospitality, Commercial Retail and Office, and Single and Multi-Family Residential project types.

Responsibilities:

Managing small-scale projects through all phases from initial client meetings through construction administration

Coordination with the internal office team on daily tasks for 1-3 projects

Producing accurate construction documents and providing quality control

Managing consultant coordination

Preparing for and leading client presentations

Collaborating with other teams on large-scale projects

Providing a high level of client service and team support through great design

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture

Minimum of 6 years working in the field of architecture

Strong communication & organizational skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit & Microsoft Suite

Preference given to candidates with prior work experience or proficiency in:

Hospitality, Retail or Residential Design

Enscape, Sketchup or other rendering software

Adobe Creative Suite software

Ability to sketch digitally & by hand

Professional Licensure
