Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking candidates for a Maintenance Supervisor role on the day shift. Compensation for this direct-hire opportunity ranges between $32.00-$35.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. What you’ll do as a Maintenance Supervisor:

Report directly to the Director of Maintenance for overall project planning and management at the respective plant

Maintain equipment, practice preventative maintenance, coordinate and prioritize work orders

Prioritize, work with, and help guide maintenance technicians on internal construction or maintenance projects for production equipment or facility improvements

Diagnose equipment issues and coordinate with production teams on maintenance repairs to minimize downtime

Ensure safety guidelines and regulatory requirements are met in all maintenance work

Follow and enforce GMP’s and safety protocols

Work with Parts and Inventory Specialist to source components and maintain proper inventory controlWhat you need to be a Maintenance Supervisor:

High School diploma required, additional schooling is preferred

2+ years supervisor experience required

Boiler license and Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Electrical knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude

Understanding of basic electrical systems; including single phase, 3 phase and low voltage

Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings

Prior experience in a manufacturing facility preferred, specifically in food manufacturing

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation

Ability to work with various computer programs including work order system and Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook and Teams.
