Fire alarm technician - American Security

Job Description

We are seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to join our team! You will install, repair and inspect fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities:

Install and program new alarm and security systems

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarms and security systems

Complete inspections on fire alarm systems

Completion of all necessary paperwork associated with service and inspections

Conduct routine preventative maintenance on fire alarm systems

Monitor inventory of service parts

Take turns in on-call rotation

Qualifications:

Familiarity with NFPA 72, Florida Fire Prevention Code, and local building codes

Experience in the fire alarm industry

Familiarity with low voltage systems

Previous knowledge of Fire-Lite, Notifier and Silent Knight equipment

Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Strong verbal and written communications skills required

Organized, motivated, and able to work with minimum supervisionCompany Description
