Cherry Picker Operator

Job Description

We are seeking to fill roles for Cherry Picker Operators on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for the efficient movement of finished goods, bulk items, and close-out products using a High Lift Truck. It involves locating, verifying, and transporting inventory across warehouse and staging areas to support production flow.

Essential Functions

Review work schedule, perform safety checks on equipment, and prepare for daily tasks

Operate a High Lift Truck to access storage racks and staging areas

Locate, verify, and retrieve products from racks or pallets up to 30 feet high

Manually lift and stack product cases (up to 40 lbs) onto pallets

Use a wrist scanner to update inventory and track movement of goods

Transport pallets to designated locations within the warehouse or production areas

Retrieve and deliver finished goods between departments and update inventory records accordingly

Replace and maintain High Lift Truck batteries as needed

Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment

Complete end-of-shift responsibilities including securing equipment and submitting safety checklists

Perform other tasks as directed by supervisors or managers

Daily Operations Setup

At the beginning of each shift, review job instructions and schedules with the supervisor. Gather necessary supplies, wear all required PPE and safety gear, and conduct safety inspections on assigned equipment.Company Description
