Accounting Assistant
Location: Mira Loma, California
Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Office
Pay: $23/hour (DOE)
About Us
We are a general contractor, operating two divisions:
Stone Division – Imports, fabricates, and installs granite and quartz countertops.
Services Division – Provides unit rehabilitations, flooring, painting, janitorial, and maintenance services for multifamily properties.
We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to support our accounting team with billing, invoicing, and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Compile data, calculate fees, and prepare invoices for billing.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer invoices based on contracts and work orders.
Maintain organized records by scanning and saving necessary paperwork.
Communicate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and inquiries.
Review completed work orders for discrepancies.
Send invoices to customers via mail or electronically.
Assist with collections by following up on past-due accounts.
Maintain business licenses and assist with data entry in ERP and other accounting systems.
Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software (American Contractors preferred).
Experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable is preferred.
Construction industry experience is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
