Job Description
The purpose of this position is to collaborate with the HR Manager and AJR leadership to provide a variety of HR solutions including but not limited to talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll/compensation, performance management, safety, employee relations, records management, retention, rewards and recognition programs.
Essential Functions:
· Ensures facilities’ compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices as well as federal, state, and local requirements.
· Process payroll using Paycor software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
· Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing risks and ensuring legal compliance.
· Executes HR projects, tracks key metrics and manages a variety of programs. Including but not limited to all company benefit programs, worker’s compensation, FMLA, plant safety, payroll administration, etc.
· Leads employee relations initiative to foster engagement and retention.
· Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
Enhances department and organization effectiveness by working with employees at all levels of to accomplish goals, sets high standards of behavior for integrity, innovation and leadership
Job Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field or equivalent experience
· Minimum of 4 years of experience working in Human Resources field in a manufacturing environment required.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must.
· Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, multi-task and prioritize workload.
· Ability to take direction and work independently, as needed.
· Possesses a high level of personal integrity and ability to work with highly confidential information is a must.
· Ability to take initiative, with a demonstrated passion and commitment for getting the job done right the first time, to meet stakeholder expectations.
· Excellent computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office, are required. Knowledge of Paycor/ADP payroll systems.
· Effective problem solving skills with an eye towards proactive solutions.
· Bi-lingual Spanish required
