Salary Range: $28.08 - $31.77 per hour (Starting) Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist/MLT to join our laboratory team in Lexington, OR. The successful candidate will perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This is a full-time, day-shift position offering the opportunity to work in a close-knit community hospital with a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare. Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in the areas of hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, and blood banking.

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results.

Follow established quality control and quality assurance procedures.

Participate in maintenance of laboratory records and inventory management.

Assist with patient specimen collection as needed.

Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Comply with all applicable regulatory standards including CLIA and OSHA. Qualifications:

Education:

Required: Associate s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Medical Technology, or equivalent.

Experience:

Required: Previous experience or internship in a clinical laboratory setting.

Preferred: 1+ years of experience as a Medical Technologist/MLT in a hospital or clinical laboratory.

Licensure/Certification:

Required: Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) by ASCP or equivalent.

Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Additional Skills & Abilities:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues. Benefits:
