Job Description
The Web Administrator collaborates with IT teams, content managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure all content is up-to-date, functional, accessible, and aligned with best practices. This role requires deep knowledge of the Drupal content management system (CMS), a strong design sensibility, and a proven ability to manage complex web environments
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in web administration and design, including oversight of large, complex websites.
Extensive hands-on experience with Drupal CMS, including content creation, taxonomy, and navigation.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX and complex web design projects.
Solid experience managing ongoing website content operations and updates.
Deep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and ability to implement accessible design and content.
Strong knowledge of SEO principles and performance optimization techniques.
Proficiency with responsive design and mobile-first strategies.
Ability to translate technical language into clear, actionable communication for non-technical users.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with government, education, or large-scale public sector websites.
Familiarity with accessibility remediation tools and practices.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of web analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
