Senior SharePoint Solution Developer

Job Description

ComResource is looking for a Senior SharePoint Solution Developer.

We need someone to assist in migrating, developing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions across legacy and modern platforms while troubleshooting custom applications and ensuring system optimization.

Responsibilities:

Migrate SharePoint server-side solutions from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2016.

Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint out-of-the-box (OOB) and custom application issues, providing timely root cause analysis.

Create and maintain SharePoint sites, including managing lists, libraries, permissions, and other components.

Execute product specification, system design, development, and integration activities.

Participate in product and program collaboration efforts.

Refactor SharePoint server-side applications and services to modern SharePoint platforms.

Maintain, configure, and optimize SharePoint solutions and artifacts after migration.

Perform additional technical tasks as assigned.

Essentials:

5+ years of SharePoint server-side solution development experience (SharePoint 2007–2016).

8+ years in a software development role.

Extensive knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET.

Strong experience with Microsoft IIS and Microsoft SQL Server, including writing queries and performance troubleshooting.

Expertise in SharePoint site templates, master pages, page layouts, and server artifacts.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and web development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript libraries).

Proficiency with web service models including SOAP, OData, and REST.

Experience with InfoPath forms development with code-behind and migration.

Strong knowledge of authentication methods and Kerberos.

Experience using TFS and Git for version control.

Desired:

Experience with third-party SharePoint migration tools (e.g., Sharegate).

Experience developing client-side solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).

Experience with ULS log analysis, network trace analysis, and client-side debugging.
