Position: Sample Management Associate

Location: Woburn, MA (ON-SITE)

Salary: $55,000 - $60,000

Job Overview:

As our Sample Management Associate, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, logging, and tracking study samples using the LIMS system. You will utilise your attention to detail, organisational skills, and strong commitment to health and safety to ensure the proper handling, logging, and release of chemicals, reagents, and laboratory supplies.

Responsibilities:

Receive and verify deliveries of lab materials and reagents.

Obtain and maintain Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

Notify lab personnel of received materials.

Coordinate handling of biological samples, including receipt, storage, inventory, and disposal.

Prepare sample manifests for Watson LIMS using Excel.

Manage receipt, log-in, and transfer of biological samples for analysis.

Maintain accurate records of sample storage and conditions.

Ensure proper labelling and storage conditions for samples and reagents.

Arrange and document sample destruction as advised.

Comply with cGxP regulations and SOPs.

Keep the Receiving/Sample Management area inspection-ready.

Monitor inventory levels and order supplies.

Author, revise, and review SOPs related to sample management.

What We're Looking For:

Around 2 years of Laboratory work experience

Excel skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds

Experience in regulated environments (GLP/GMP) preferred

Experience in handling biological and chemical samples is preferred

LIMS experience would be beneficial
