Brief Description Injection Mold:

This position operates a computer controlled plastic injection molding machine. Monitors parts for conformance to company's quality standards. Trims parts for excess plastic, does some basic assembly of parts, monitors machine performance, packs parts and stages completed parts for pickup by material handlers.

Responsibilities and Duties

Monitors machine cycles and functions during run and makes changes when needed.

Trims parts of excess plastic

Assembles parts

Packs Parts

Records scrap and production levels in the system

Assists with machine setup

Performs housekeeping duties around machine and work areas

Qualifications and Skills

Must be a high school graduate or possess an equivalent GED certificate. Desire prior manufacturing experience. Should have good reading and math skills and be comfortable with basic computer operations. Will complete company provided training involving both computer aided training and on the job training.

Brief Description Machine Operator:

Operate one or more of a variety of finishing machines such as Ball End, Parrot Bill Machines, Gluers, Cable Loop Machines, Bending Machines, Grit Machines, and Drill Press.

Move material within the work area. Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly manner and follow standard safety regulations.

Full-time
