Tesoro Group is seeking a Roving Mitigation Technician to join one of our long-term client's team in Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in general residential maintenance and construction. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation as this role is roving to multiple locations. This is a contract to hire role (6 months before conversion).

Salary: $20-$21/hour - This is a contract to hire role (6 months before conversion).

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm (some weeknight and weekend availability required during peak seasons). This role will be meeting at their corporate office in Plymouth and then be dispatched to current project sites for the day.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Mitigation Technician is responsible for debris removal from properties damaged by fire, water, or other natural disasters.

Responsible for removing debris (carpet, sheetrock, cabinets, anything else damaged by water or fire) and disposing items in large dumpsters provided at each job/work site – this job is 60% demolition.

Responsible for removing contents/belongings to be saved and stored from the properties and loading them onto trucks to take back to the corporate office for cleaning and storage (customers' personal belongings and items).

Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.

Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).

Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown - leaving jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.

Provide homeowners/customers, vendors, and other team members onsite exception customer service.

Qualifications and Experience:

6 months' experience in general residential maintenance and construction – common knowledge of basic hand tools, power tools, and remodeling/demolition.

Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly (furniture & demolition debris).

Hold a valid driver's license and reliable transportation as this role is roving to multiple locations.

Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Be able to use personal cell phone for taking photos and documentation while at job sites.
