General Summary:
The CMM Programmer and Operator works closely with production and engineering to support the design. build, testing, and troubleshooting of custom thermal products.
Key Responsibilities:
Programs in Calypso, including free-form and curve
Creates new programs using calypso software, as well as operating CMM machine using established programs.
Uses GD&T to define and communicate design intent as well as regulate the shape, size and position of the product.
Creates reports in real-time using PiWeb
Programs VMM in zone3
Is responsible for creating Operator Level set-up and run instructions.
Responsible for supporting the ongoing calibration and maintenance of the inspection equipment.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
Background in a CNC milling environment
Basic knowledge of CMM hardware
3 years of experience in programing using Calypso.
Coursework, certificate, or degree from technical school in related field of study
Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001:2008, or similar quality management procedures and processes (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics for fabrication and assembly
Good computer (work, excel, e-mail) and communication skills (written and verbal)
Meticulous attention to detail
Good manual dexterity
Able to handle physically heavy materials (>50lbs) when necessary
Troubleshooting and development of first-generation solutions requiring practical on-the-floor solutions

Previous knowledge of ERP systems.
