Private Credit/Equity – NYC / Greenwich CT

Hybrid Remote / Remote Opportunity

J Harlan Group is currently conducting a search for an Artificial Intelligence Consultant at a prominent NYC / Greenwich CT Private Credit/Equity organization. The firm is flexible with Hybrid Remote or Remote Consultants.

The AI Consultant will be a significant contributor to enabling the firm's AI / ML vision and helping the organization to grow and improve their businesses.

An exciting opportunity to join the firm's Technology team responsible for setting the overall AI / ML strategy, solutions and direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of major projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Principal Responsibilities:

Evaluate business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for implementing AI solutions

Design, develop and implement AI applications and solutions to improve business operations

Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop machine learning models and AI systems

Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for AI initiatives

Work closely with stakeholders to ensure AI solutions align with business goals

Monitor the performance of AI systems and make necessary adjustments

Stay up to date with the latest AI trends and technologies

Provide training and guidance to teams on AI technologies and applications

Ensure adherence to AI ethics and data privacy standards

Measure and report on the effectiveness of implemented AI strategies

The ideal candidate would have a background including:

A solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and other AI technologies, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proven experience as an AI Consultant or similar role

Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and other AI technologies

Experience in designing and implementing AI solutions

Ability to translate business requirements into AI applications and solutions

Experience with AI related programming languages such as Python or R

Familiarity with AI platforms and tools such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Experience working with cross-functional teams and coordinating people and resources

Experience developing a strategy and implementing a program

Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance

Proven track record of delivering projects on time and at or under budget

Ability to work in an open collaborative and highly charged environment.

Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile team environment

Strong interpersonal skills; able to establish and maintain a close working relationship's

Confident communicator

Enthusiasm for learning & results oriented

Strong desire to contribute and build a business – not just solve novel problems.

Ability to work with a wide range of clients and technologists to develop and implement technology in support of a dynamically growing Private Credit platform

Required Education:

Strong academic record and a BA/BS degree with high mathematical and computing content (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering or relevant field)
