Brief Outline of Responsibilities:
Operate Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system
Inspect and evaluate pump stations and houses daily
Read and test water meters
Perform water sampling and testing
Inspect and/or maintain sewer and water pumping equipment, hydrants, sanitary sewers, and new construction connections

Required certifications and licenses:
Wisconsin Certified Waterworks Operator Class G and D & Basic General Wastewater with Collections Systems subclass (mandatory). Iron Removal preferred. Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License (mandatory) and an acceptable driving record. WI CDL BCD with Tanker endorsement (N) preferred
Hours of work are 6:30 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday. All operators are in the on-call rotation and must reside within 40 minutes of city hall.
