Job Description

Summary

We are seeking an upbeat, nurturing and caring teacher to teach and manage the day-to-day activities of the classroom through the classroom schedule, lesson plan and co-teachers.

Duties

Practice Center policies and BFTS Core rules regulations and Quality Rated Standards

Collaborate with co-teacher in reviewing lesson plan and activities during planning time

Provide daily classroom instruction and activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards by following posted lesson plan

Greet parents students during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up

Maintain a sanitary environment according to daily cleaning checklist

Attend all staff meetings, trainings and center events

Complete child health safety checks complete incident reports as they occur

Requirements

Pass criminal records check

Provide copy of high school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 1 year lead teacher experience

Perform demo activity 24 hours after receiving comprehensive satisfactory background check

Provide two employment references from former supervisor or manager

Register for CDA during orientation

Mandatory overtime when required by management

Complete CDA within 8 months of hire date
