What you’ll do

Streamline the developer experience for our monorepo. Streamline the developer experience for our monorepo by sharing your vision of an ideal internal developer experience. Your work will focus on reducing build times, accelerating deploy times, and increasing time-to-ship.

Manage our frontend infrastructure. Lead the implementation of Storybook, enhance our CI/CD pipeline, optimize web application performance, and implement application monitoring to ensure robust and reliable operations.

Collaborate with the Vercel team. We're enterprise customers of Vercel and have an active Slack channel with their team. We're pushing the boundaries of the product when it comes to deploying a high-performant, multi-tenant app that powers hundreds of websites.

Build user-facing features. Develop features such as a WYSIWYG editor to replace Markdown files with an intuitive in-browser app, and a changelog to track developer documentation changes over time. You’ll oversee the architecture, design, deployment, and customer adoption of these features.

Earn trust with customers. Work with developers from startups, growth-stage companies, and enterprises. Collaborate to understand their needs and define product requirements.

What you’ll bring

3+ years of professional frontend development experience, ideally including startup environments

Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js

Experience collaborating with product designers

A customer-first mindset, with enthusiasm for engaging with users to ensure we build polished, user-centric products

(Bonus) Experience working with the OpenAPI specification, Conjure (Palantir), or Smithy (AWS)

A salary of $170,000 to $210,000 and equity
