Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident, not able to employ those with work visas.
Position purpose
Under general direction of assembly supervision, operators use assembly machinery and related equipment in the production of quality parts.
Job Requirements
Follow all company safety rules and guidelines
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
100% adherence to processes of assembling parts to ensure they meet customer specifications as described in the build book
Attention to detail is a must
Must work in a team environment, and show ability to communicate in a concise, polite and respectful manner with team members
Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining proper quality specifications
Ability to build at rate
Ability to safely operate hand tools (sanding sticks, shell blaster, glue guns, pneumatic drivers, drills, etc.)
Ability to work with common cleaning solvents (denatured alcohol) and adhesives
Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
Pursue ongoing goal of cost reductions
Responsible for assuring the conformity of product to customer requirements
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Requires ability to push/pull at approximately shoulder height
Maximum lifting requirement is approximately 50 lbs, infrequently
Break times are scheduled and enforced
Skill, training, or educational requirements
This is an entry-level manufacturing position requiring a good work ethic and the ability to speak and understand English sufficiently to receive training, interact with coworkers and team leaders, and read and complete paperwork. Through in-house training, advancement is possible.
