Minimum Requirements:
Experience working in a secondary school setting, preferably within the Greece Central School District, is highly desirable.
Demonstrated knowledge of course offerings, sequencing, and articulation across all secondary grade levels (e.g., understanding prerequisites, graduation requirements, and program pathways from 9th through 12th grade) relevant to the curriculum at Odyssey Academy.
Proficiency in using student information systems (e.g., PowerSchool, Infinite Campus) and scheduling software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 2 (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Knowledge of secondary school curriculum, graduation requirements, and academic programs, particularly those offered at Odyssey Academy, is beneficial.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation of the annual master schedule for Odyssey Academy, incorporating student course requests, staffing allocations, program requirements, and facility constraints.
Input, update, and maintain accurate scheduling data within the student information system (e.g., course offerings specific to Odyssey Academy, teacher assignments, room assignments, meeting patterns).
Manage and resolve scheduling conflicts and student course change requests in a timely and equitable manner for Odyssey Academy students.
Generate and analyze scheduling reports specific to Odyssey Academy to identify potential issues and optimize the schedule.
Prepare and distribute schedule-related information to Odyssey Academy students, parents, and staff.
Collaborate with department leaders at Odyssey Academy to ensure appropriate course sequencing and alignment with curriculum across grade levels.
Assist with the scheduling of special programs, interventions, and support services unique to Odyssey Academy.
Maintain accurate records of all scheduling decisions and changes at Odyssey Academy.
Collect and analyze student course requests and enrollment data specific to Odyssey Academy to inform scheduling decisions.
Utilize the student information system and other tools to generate reports related to class size, teacher load, and program participation at Odyssey Academy.
Identify trends and patterns in student course selections at Odyssey Academy to anticipate future scheduling needs.
Assist in the preparation of data for district and state reporting related to course enrollment at Odyssey Academy.
Work collaboratively with administrators, counselors, department leaders, and other staff members at Odyssey Academy throughout the scheduling process.
Communicate effectively with Odyssey Academy students and parents regarding schedule-related inquiries and concerns.
Participate in meetings related to scheduling and course planning at Odyssey Academy.
Serve as a resource for Odyssey Academy staff regarding scheduling policies and procedures.
Maintain positive and productive working relationships with all stakeholders within the Odyssey Academy community.
Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the school's student information system and scheduling software relevant to Odyssey Academy's needs.
Identify and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the scheduling process at Odyssey Academy.
Stay informed about updates and enhancements to scheduling software and recommend best practices for Odyssey Academy.
Assist with the coordination of registration processes for Odyssey Academy.
Support the implementation of school-wide initiatives related to academic planning and student pathways at Odyssey Academy.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or Assistant Principal for Academics at Odyssey Academy.
