Senior Naval Science Instructor (SNSI) – Elgin High School NJROTC

Elgin High School is seeking a highly motivated, certified Navy Officer (CWO2–O6) to serve as the Senior Naval Science Instructor (SNSI) for its NJROTC program. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to student development, with a strong commitment to supporting cadets both during the school day and through extracurricular activities. This includes availability during evenings and weekends for events such as competitions, school functions, and community service projects.

This full-time position will begin on July 1, 2025, for the 2025–2026 school year.

Elgin High School serves approximately 1,848 students and is located just 20 minutes from downtown Austin, Texas. Elgin ISD is a fast growing 5A district that offers a vibrant educational environment, backed by strong community involvement and excellent potential for program development.
