CUSD 303 is seeking a qualified, strong and dynamic Executive Director of Learning and Teaching for the 2025-2026 SY.
The Executive Director of Learning and Teaching provides leadership and strategic direction for curriculum, instruction, and professional development across PreK-12 grade levels.
A dedicated instructional operations leader enhances coordination, responsiveness, and accountability in executing the district’s learning initiatives.
This individual collaborates with administrators, educators, and staff to ensure high-quality instructional practices that promote student achievement
and continuous improvement aligned with district goals
Qualifications: Minimum Education/Certification:
? Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, or a related field (Doctorate preferred)
? Valid Illinois administrative licensure or eligibility
? Minimum of five (5) years of experience in teaching and instructional leadership, preferably in a PreK-12 setting
? Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment
? Strong knowledge of educational research, best practices, and emerging trends in education
? Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
? Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use data to drive instructional decisions
This is a full-time, 12 month position. Current salary range for this position is $139,320.00 - $184,084.00. See job description attached.
