Purpose Statement
This role provides advanced technical support and administration of enterprise-level operational technology, ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of critical systems and processes.
Essential Job Functions
? Gather and analyze data on system operations to report on and resolve software issues.
? Install and maintain software applications, ensuring users have access to the latest technology.
? Manage system security components (passwords, user access, etc.) to regulate system access and ensure data confidentiality.
? Coordinate year-end and cycle-end processing procedures.
? Manage critical reporting requirements related to operational areas, such as food services, transportation, and other district-managed programs.
? Gather user requirements and develop customized queries, reports, and database applications to meet specific informational needs.
? Lead meetings to communicate system capabilities and align with district goals.
? Instruct district and building-level staff on proper and efficient system usage and communicate system changes.
? Develop user training materials and application documentation.
? Oversee system integrations to ensure seamless and reliable data flow and functionality. ? Provide excellent technical support to district staff.
Additional Duties
? Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
? Must be proficient in the use of Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.
? Must have strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems. ? Must develop a strong understanding of assigned business systems and be able to communicate with the vendor's technical support team.
? Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
? Must be able to communicate with persons of varied cultural and educational levels in order to gather requirements, resolve problems, and identify changes needed to processes and equipment.
? Specific abilities required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: being attentive to detail; flexibility to deal with frequent interruptions; meeting deadlines and schedules; working under time constraints; prioritizing tasks.
? Must have a strong knowledge of server technologies and protocols
Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards
The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demand: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling; some walking and standing may be required when traveling to customer locations and while working at users workstations to resolve problems.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in the Operation Systems field (2 years work experience to 1 year experience to college)

Classified Staff Matrix: Grade 19
Salary: $26.11-$31.40 based on experience
An additional $1 per hour will be paid from referendum funds
