This position supports mission critical servers, network storage, VMware, M365, backups, security, etc. Work with systems personnel to maintain and update all systems to perform at a highly efficient and reliable level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides input to hardware sizing and system requirements.
Responsible for review of backup, business continuity and disaster recovery procedures for all systems.
Manage and Review M365.
Review Active Directory/ Windows Server maintenance and configuration.
Review and manage VMware alerts.
Capable of process improvement and system planning.
Windows server expertise, builds backup schedules, evaluates recovery procedures, and takes part in disaster recovery testing exercises.
Responsible for 24x7 support of all mission critical hardware
Review upgrades and patches to existing databases.
Regarding all network problems, you contact a Network Administrator for help.
Maintains the highest degree of confidentiality.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Sciences or Business Administration from a four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
You must possess superior computer skills and be proficient with systems currently in use by the company. Minimum of 4 years’ experience with Windows servers, exchange, backup and recovery, and PC experience. Experience working with virtualization software, preferably VMware. Must have knowledge and skills to implement industry best practices for backup and recovery strategies. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. Must be able to communicate with all members of the Systems Team in a professional, cordial manner, to successfully accomplish departmental and company goals. Must be well organized, with the ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and keep the Systems Team appraised of any issues that might affect deadlines. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, show facts, and draw valid conclusions. The ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
