Summary/Scope of Work
Provide simulation and training support to the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Mission Training Complex and other distributed training and exercise locations as directed. This offer is available contingent upon contract award.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure each MTC can conduct one large (multi-echelon) and one medium scale (single echelon) JLCCTC supported exercise simultaneously
Install, operate, integrate, troubleshoot communications, application, configurations
Establish network addresses and connections
Monitor and analyze system performance
Recommend and perform application maintenance
Upgrade as needed, conduct data backups, system recovery, install information assurance vulnerability alert (IAVA) patches, security updates
Respond to critical vulnerabilities, and conduct remediation before, during, and after training exercises using the JLCCTC suite and a friend of the federation
Provide support at the MTC or at the TUC point of need
Minimum Requirements:
US Citizenship
Prior military experience
Knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of simulation systems, including software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Proficiency in systems administration, particularly with Windows and Linux/UNIX operating systems
Experience in managing and configuring servers, workstations, and network hardware
Knowledge of virtualization technologies, cloud services, and network security practices
Meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT II requirements
Possess a Secret clearance
Occasionally training may be conducted on the weekend and one may be required to work on Saturday and Sunday
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
