Network Operations/Technical Support Specialist
Joint Base Andrews
Overview:
IPTA, LLC is a dynamic Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Since 1992, IPTA has provided a wide variety of professional services and technology solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), other Federal agencies and commercial clients.
Responsibilities:
Perform engineering for new circuit installations, modifications, and deactivations
Provide technical and operational support to end-user services, network expansions, and modernization of telecommunications backbone systems
Provide problem resolution for all hardware and software elements of the data communication circuits maintained by the work center to include Commercial and GFE owned networks
Provide outage and restoration information as required to include restore times
Ensure the availability of the circuits in coordination with others work centers as required
Perform status updates and circuit monitoring as required
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2+ years of related experience, additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
Currently possess a DoD security clearance
Active CompTIA Security+ certification
Desired Experience:
Experienced working at the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), and Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB)
Knowledge of Air Force, Pentagon, and/or AFNCR
