Responsible for managing operational finances for the company. As part of the management team at Eagle Creek Homes, the CFO will help to develop the vision and strategic policy of the company. This position will have a day-to-day impact on company operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position.
Summary of essential job functions
Management of the finance department
Management of complex financial processes. Budgeting, planning, and controlling. Ensure cash flow is compatible with company operations
Assist management with important financial decisions
Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecast, and statements to understand the financial state of business
Make investment decisions by considering cash and liquidity capabilities and risks.
Execute annual, monthly, weekly reports on revenues, profits, and expenses.
Implementation of corporate financial management practices. Initiate process and performance improvement.
Analyze business data beyond financial figures.
Manage direct reports/finance accounting personnel
Skills Required
5+ years experience in a leadership role
Experience in new home construction would be plus
Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills
Understanding of advanced accounting processes and policies
Excellent computer skillset
Reporting/presentation skills
Educational Requirements of this position
Degree in Accounting, business accounting/economics, finance, or equivalent field and experience.
