Job Description

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Systems Administrator for our Columbus, OH location.

Responsibilities

Accountable for ensuring the integrity and protection of Kimball Midwest’s systems and data.

Responsible for contributing input to system designs and implementations with a dedicated focus.

Collaborates with the IT Operations team to vigilantly monitor security vulnerabilities.

Documents, handles, or escalates cybersecurity alerts and events according to department protocol and procedures, executing established technical process workflows

Configures systems to monitor for indicators of cybersecurity events/compromise

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of IT Support Experience

Basic level understanding of Cyber Security Operations, including monitoring, detection, incident response, and forensics

Intermediate understanding of Linux and Windows servers, databases and data extraction, networking, internet protocols, and OSI layer models

The ability to work outside of normal business hours
