SignalFire Wireless Telemetry designs and manufactures low-powered industrial solutions for reliable, user-friendly sensing, controlling, and monitoring – without the use of wires. Our platform is compatible with most industrial sensors and available with 900MHz Radio Frequency or Cellular & Cloud with LTE-M1 for flexibility and cost effectiveness. These products are robust and certified for hazardous locations with a built-in secure communication protocol that enables long-distance wireless communication connecting multiple devices together in challenging outdoor environments. Our objective is to provide users with the solution they need to digitally transform their operations with the use of existing or new sensors without running wires, cables, and conduit.
Job Summary:
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the daily management, maintenance, and support of IT systems for employees. This role ensures smooth operation of hardware, software, networks, and security protocols while providing technical assistance to users. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting system issues, performing regular updates and backups, managing user accounts, and ensuring compliance with IT policies. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, experience with system administration, and the ability to support a dynamic work environment. The role requires 20% domestic travel.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Provide advanced hardware support and troubleshoot IT issues involving PCs, printers, mobile devices, telephony systems, Windows servers, standard software applications, and network connectivity.
Implement, manage, and configure IT security solutions such as RMM, antivirus, multi-factor authentication, and spam filters.
Deploy, configure, and upgrade Windows PCs, servers, and software, utilizing automated methods where applicable.
Manage procurement of IT hardware and solutions and maintain compliance for IT equipment and software licenses, including Microsoft 365, Adobe, SolidWorks or similar.
Lead and support IT-related projects across various departments.
Spearhead automation initiatives to enhance IT reporting and modernization.
Ensure data integrity through the evaluation, proposal, implementation, and management of software and hardware solutions.
Oversee user provisioning, access control, and administration of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other SaaS applications.
Manage disaster recovery solutions, including the configuration, monitoring, reporting, and validation of backups.
Manage the IT help desk ticket system, ensuring timely response and escalation of issues.
Collaborate with Global IT leads and other Site Level leads to bolster the business’s security, auditability, and documentation processes.
Manage vendor relations and oversee the lifecycle of infrastructure projects.
Perform additional tasks as necessary.

This is an on-site position requiring 20% domestic travel.
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or possesses equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of IT experience or equivalent
CCNA, Net+, or equivalent networking experience
SEC+ or equivalent security experience
Hypervisor experience
Office365/Microsoft 365 administration experience
Remote Monitoring and Management tool experience
Intermediate level scripting experience
