Position Description: Job Title: Heavy Equipment MechanicLocation: Baton Rouge, LouisianaJob Summary:We're seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy equipment. This role requires a TWIC card (or ability to obtain one), OSHA certification, and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check.Responsibilities:1. Inspect and diagnose: Identify problems using computerized tools and equipment manuals.2. Repair and maintain: Fix or replace defective parts, perform routine maintenance, and test equipment.3. Troubleshoot: Use hand tools, power tools, and technical manuals to resolve issues.4. Record-keeping: Maintain equipment repair logs and documentation.5. Travel: Visit worksites to repair heavy equipment as needed.Requirements:1. TWIC card: Must have a valid TWIC card or be able to obtain one.2. OSHA certification: Hold a valid OSHA card.3. Background check: Pass a background check.4. Drug screen: Pass a drug screen.5. Experience: Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.Compensation:- $25.00 - $40.00 per hour (depending on experience) $25.00 - $40.00 Hourly
