Position Description:
The Technical Services Specialist will initially be a full-time salaried position with Computers In Ministry. The position will report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities of this position include:
Provides in-person and remote help desk IT support, including troubleshooting of networked devices, including PCs, printers, and similar hardware, as well as application software and Microsoft 365.
Documented, tracked, and monitored customer problems to ensure timely resolution.
Works with Helpdesk Manager, Ministry Partner leadership and other CIM staff to achieve the best blend of comprehensive, end-user focused support services.
Understand and be able to execute escalation procedures effectively.
Assists with client software installations and upgrades.
Assist with the monitoring of the automated network failure notification system as implemented within client infrastructure
Assists with the maintenance and updating of network documentation, including but not limited to inventory, equipment/software configurations, and records
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Engaging, enthusiastic, and encouraging phone and in-person customer support skills
Ability and desire to mentor others professionally and spiritually
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Passion and ability to learn new things
Aptitude for pro-active systems and project management
Experience:
Three years of experience in end-user, hardware, and software technical support
Two years of support experience in a Windows-based network environment
Basic Apple support experience
Experience in Windows O365 administration desired
Microsoft certification desired
Apple support experience desired
Experience with team-based projects
